Whether you are large corporation with multiple sites or needing a system for occasional use, our backup service plans are an ideal and cost effective option giving you the reliability and connection speed you need.

You pay a low monthly service fee and then you pay a daily usage charge for any time the service is used within a given day. The daily rate is the same regardless of if you use the service for 2 hours or a whole day. If your needs change and you need to use the service on a semi-permanent basis then you can be switched to standard monthly service plans and pricing.

All backup services offer unlimited downloads and uploads subject to our "Fair Access Policy" (FAP). Typical monthly usage expectations are indicated in the service schedule below. There are two levels of FAP that can be applied. The first is known as a "soft throttle" and sets a limit on your maximum download speed. The second, or "hard throttle", restricts the offending site to less than 64kbps. Once FAP is applied to a particular site it can take several hours for the FAP to be lifted. Customers on higher service plans will be able to use the service more heavily without running the risk of being subjected to FAP. In the same way, higher service plans will have the FAP lifted at a quicker rate than sites on , say, the basic home level package.

Because of the dynamic nature of the FAP system there are no hard monthly download or upload limits. We've found that typical users using the system for browsing, chat applications, email and reasonable downloads do not find themselves subjected to FAP. * Speeds quoted

You pay a low monthly service fee plus a daily rate for any time the service is used within a given day regardless of if it has been used for 30 minutes or 23 hours. * If, your backup usage exceeds seven days charges and you feel you would like to use the service on a semi-permanent basis then you can contact our sales team to request future service be billed at standard monthly rates.

Minimum contract term is 12 months for each backup plan and pricing quoted is for Bluestar supplied backup satellite broadband equipment and load balancer. Each backup system is €1,999 excluding shipping and/or installation. For service plans costing over 30 euros a month, billing will be quarterly in advance. For service plans costing under 30 euros a month, billing will be six-monthly in advance. A security deposit may be required.
