Obviously you will need to access your email account to send/receive emails. To do this you can either use web-mail or an email client. We recommend using Outlook Express, which is included with Microsoft Windows. To learn how to setup Outlook Express, you will need these settings:
Mail Server: POP3
POP3 Server: mail.bluestarinternet.net
SMTP Server: mail.bluestarinternet.net
Account Name: user@bluestarinternet.net (Use your full email address)
Password: This is the password for the above email account
* You can see screen shots on how to setup Outlook Express [Here]
Enable SMTP Authentification (Required):
- Open Outlook (Express).
- Click [ Tools ] on the top menu
- From the dropdown menu select [ Accounts ]
- Highlight your account and select [ Properties ]
- Click on the [ Servers ] tab.
- Look for Outgoing Mail Server (bottom)
- Under that, check the “my server requires authentification” box [ X ]
- Click [ Apply ] and then click [ Ok ]
Logging into Webmail:
You can access web-mail at http://bluestarinternet.net/webmail. Then, a popup will appears asking for a username and password. The username would be a full email address and the password would be the password for that email account.
